Learn more →My work as a photographer explores the way I see and feel the world. I do not merely want to capture an image; I look to find beauty in serendipitous moments through light, form, and line. I am passionate about photography because it allows me a tool through which I can freely and easily move outside traditional art forms to explore my world. Through my images I seek to cultivate or spark a visceral sensation of heightened awareness.Ann’s work reflects her love for the great outdoors and, in particular, observing and photographing wildlife. Adventurous, she will hike and bushwhack sometimes for hours with camera in hand looking for wildlife and beautiful landscape. “It is the adventure, the freedom and solitude that is so much the joy of my work.†An award-winning photographer based both in Montana and Arizona, Ann was recently featured in Images Arizona Magazine. Learn more →I don't set out to produce a perfect piece of fine art that I think will sell. Mostly I attempt to capture a moment, or a feeling, or the essence of something or someone that has significance to me. That approach takes me down many different paths as I evolve as an artist. For me, art is an invitation to a conversation. .... A dance. I know what I’m trying to express in the piece but what do you see? Why do you see it that way? The outcome of that conversation is where the magic lies. Like life, the story we create together is far richer than each one individually. Medium(s): Bronze, Metal
