My work as a photographer explores the way I see and feel the world. I do not merely want to capture an image; I look to find beauty in serendipitous moments through light, form, and line. I am passionate about photography because it allows me a tool through which I can freely and easily move outside traditional art forms to explore my world. Through my images I seek to cultivate or spark a visceral sensation of heightened awareness.Ann’s work reflects her love for the great outdoors and, in particular, observing and photographing wildlife. Adventurous, she will hike and bushwhack sometimes for hours with camera in hand looking for wildlife and beautiful landscape. “It is the adventure, the freedom and solitude that is so much the joy of my work.” An award-winning photographer based both in Montana and Arizona, Ann was recently featured in Images Arizona Magazine. She has won numerous awards with the Phoenix Camera Club and the Arizona Camera Club Council. She has exhibited her work at the El Pedregal Gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona; the Ridge in Bozeman, Montana; at the Finer Arts Gallery and the Sonoran Arts League in Cavecreek, Arizona and online with Artists in Arizona.
