Become a Discover Cave Creek Founding Partner

Discover Cave Creek was created to make it easier for residents and visitors to discover local businesses, places, events, stories and resources throughout Cave Creek and the surrounding community.

As the site gets started, we are inviting a small group of local businesses to become Discover Cave Creek Founding Partners and be part of the site from the beginning.

Free to be included. Pay to be promoted.

Businesses do not have to advertise to be included in Discover Cave Creek. Basic directory listings are free, and we want to keep it that way.

Paid promotional opportunities are for businesses that want additional visibility beyond their regular directory presence.

This helps us build a useful and comprehensive local resource while giving businesses an optional way to reach more residents and visitors.

Local promotion without turning the site into an ad board

We intentionally limit advertising on Discover Cave Creek.

Instead of filling pages with banners and competing advertisements, we have created a handful of designated promotional spaces throughout the site.

Only one promotion is visible in a placement at a time. When multiple local partners participate in the same placement, Discover Cave Creek rotates eligible promotions as visitors browse the site.

The goal is simple: give local businesses useful visibility while keeping Discover Cave Creek clean, useful and enjoyable for the people who use it.

Where can my business appear?

Founding Partners can select an available placement that makes sense for their business and the audience they want to reach.

Limited by design

Promotional inventory is intentionally limited.

Multiple businesses may participate in a particular area, but visitors see only one promotional card in each approved placement during a page load. Promotions rotate among eligible participating businesses.

We also deliberately keep promotions away from areas where they would interfere with the experience, including business claim and submission processes, contact and account areas, and individual detail pages.

This is not about putting an advertisement everywhere we can. It is about creating a small number of useful connections between local businesses and people interested in Cave Creek.

Community information should remain community information

Discover Cave Creek is also about connecting people with the organizations, resources and efforts that help make our community a better place.

Local nonprofits, community organizations, volunteer efforts, public-interest programs and community resources do not need to become paid partners simply to be included on Discover Cave Creek.

We may also provide complimentary Community Spotlight placements when an organization, resource, event or announcement provides a genuine benefit to the Cave Creek community.

Community Spotlights are provided at no charge, subject to availability and editorial discretion. They are separate from paid promotional placements.

We believe important community information should be highlighted because it is useful and relevant — not because someone paid for it.

Stories are editorial, not advertising

The stories published on Discover Cave Creek are intended to be useful, interesting and genuinely relevant to Cave Creek and the surrounding community.

Becoming a Founding Partner does not purchase editorial coverage or influence what we write about. Businesses may naturally appear in stories when they are relevant to the subject, but editorial decisions are made independently of advertising.

Who is a good fit?

Restaurants, shops, artists, attractions, professional services, home services, real estate professionals, wellness providers, lodging, entertainment and other businesses serving the Cave Creek area can all be a good fit.

We will work with you to choose an available placement that makes sense for your business.

What happens after the Founding Partner program?

The Founding Partner program is a launch program and is limited to the first 20 participating businesses.

Once those 20 Founding Partner opportunities are filled, regular business listings will continue to be free.

Businesses that want additional visibility will be able to choose from optional promotional opportunities such as featured listings, promotional placements, featured events or offers, newsletter exposure and selected sponsorship opportunities.

We have intentionally not created a large advertising rate card at launch. As Discover Cave Creek grows, we want to learn what residents and visitors actually use and what provides real value to local businesses.

Founding Partner introductory rate

Discover Cave Creek is just getting started. We do not yet have years of traffic statistics or an established advertising audience, and we do not want to price the Founding Partner program as though we do.

Instead, the first 20 Founding Partners have an opportunity to support a new local resource while receiving additional visibility during its first year.

Founding Partner recognition remains part of your connection to Discover Cave Creek. The promotional placement included with the program covers the first 12 months. After that, Founding Partners will have the opportunity to participate in the promotional options available at that time.
