I don't set out to produce a perfect piece of fine art that I think will sell. Mostly I attempt to capture a moment, or a feeling, or the essence of something or someone that has significance to me. That approach takes me down many different paths as I evolve as an artist. For me, art is an invitation to a conversation. .... A dance. I know what I’m trying to express in the piece but what do you see? Why do you see it that way? The outcome of that conversation is where the magic lies. Like life, the story we create together is far richer than each one individually.
