Lynn Thrower

Lynn Thrower ~ Embellished Animal Skulls with a Spanish Literature degree and Masters in Business, Lynn has a long and successful career in Finance and Accounting. Her career often required international travel. Lynn traveled extensively in Latin countries and lived in the Caribbean and Spain. She was exposed to the vibrant colors of those regions and had the opportunity to observe various art and design styles. Combining color into the flow of design is what she thrives on. Lynn has moved extensively and spent many years in the Southwest; most recently moving to Carefree, Arizona. The affinity for using skulls in interior design sparked the idea of combining her passion for colors and textures to bring additional “life” and interest to these skulls. Lynn's inspiration comes from many things. It may be the landscape, sunsets, stones, textiles, fashion or interior design: anything and everything in the environment surrounding us. M. Beth Johnston

While always an admirer of all God’s creatures, Beth holds a special place in her heart for dogs and horses. She believes that these animals have exceptional healing properties when it comes to the human-animal bond and working together to improve the relationship and health of both parties. Life has allowed her to both experience and see in others the healing properties of this bond, this fact along with the God given talent to draw has led her to developing a career as an artist “Beth Draws for a DHYME”. DHYME, pronounced “dime”, is an acronym for “Dogs, Horses, You & Me”. She draws not only support herself due to significant changes late in life, but also to support organizations like Reigning Grace Ranch who facilitate the human-animal bond and the work done through this bond by donating a portion of each of her art sales.
