Flavia Pereira

Creating art one color at a time. SW Style fine iconic real Steer and Long Horn skulls dot painted with acrylics. What is constant throughout my life is colorizing and creating beautiful works of art using different mediums. Inspired by the southwest décor style now living in Arizona and self-learning the mandala paint technique, I had a vision of creating SW art out of the iconic steer skulls, which I can locally source. In the summer of 2023, I painted my first steer skull with acrylic paints and reinvigorated my creative spirit. Making something old, worn out from the sun and transforming its spirit into a piece of beauty is my new passion. My herd of steer skull grows passionately every month, with each skull taking 35-45 hours of painting time over a period of 15 days. The transformation is breathtaking.
